The Adige cycling path is ideal for pleasure cyclists and also skilled bikers. It offers a combination of nature and a culture trip in the direction of the sunny south!
This cycling tour starts at Nauders (starting point) on mainly flat routes along the Adige River across Resia Pass, past the historic Resia Lake with the old church tower in the lake, through the Venosta Valley and through villages like Burgusia (Marienberg Convent), Glorenza, Churburg Castle, Silandro, and on to lush orchards past a unique mountain scenery to the towns of Merano, Bolzano (Ötzi Musuem), Reinhold Messner Museum at Sigmundskron Castle), Trento and Rovereto with its timeless culture and lively past. A highlight of this tour is a break at Caldaro Lake and also at Lake Garda.
The opera city of Verona, venue of probably the most beautiful and tragic love story in the world, the city of Romeo and Juliet, makes this cycling tour a very special adventure.
